Have you seen Brittany?
While attending Texas Tech, I chose a BBA in Marketing for many reasons, though it wasn’t my first choice. I wanted to invest in a major that could encompass every aspect of what I have already been passionate about – Public Relations. In the end, PR was too specialized so I broadened my education to include business with a specialty in Marketing.
Out of loyalty, I continued to work part-time at Abercrombie through college. My position gave me experience in customer service, point-of-sale promotions, and team management.
Out of more than 30 applicants, I alone was awarded the prestigious Director-Level Internship at the marketing firm, JDM. During the short but comprehensive internship, I negotiated with outsourced printers, managed a team of 3 creative and technical experts and nurtured sales prospects.
The internship culminated in a “Self-Branding” exercise from which the integrated Branding campaign of “Have you seen Brittany?” is derived. The campaign consists of this dynamic website, a Brand standards book, Promotional Koozies, professional business cards, a custom resume, and an offer-driven direct mail postcard campaign.
