On the job hunt… again!

Right now I am currently working two part-time jobs until my nanny job is completed, which will be at the beginning of June when the boys are out of school for the summer.  I’ve had a great time this year being a nanny, but I am ready to be in a full-time position with a company to use the business skills and knowledge I acquired while in school.  I am back in the process of sending out resumes to various companies throughout the Dallas area!

Part-time job

I am in the search for a part time position that is in the marketing/public relations/promotions field.  I have taken on a nanny position Monday through Friday from 3-630, but I am in need of another job in the mornings that way I can still gain some experience in the field!

Still No Luck

The job market these days is a very tough place for recent college graduates to find a full-time position.  Many friends of mine, as well as myself, have gone to working part-time jobs to start earning some money.  Most companies aren’t adding to their business at this time, which isn’t good news for us recently graduated from college and looking to break into the job market.

Tough Economy

So far no luck!  This economy has really made it hard for anyone to find a job

Website Launch

I’m excited for the launch of the website! Should be up and running by tomorrow!

Here we go!

As a recent college graduate, I’ve discovered the difficulties of being able to get a job even with a college degree.  The economy is definitely not in our favor at the moment.  I feel in order for recent graduates to land a job, they have to go above and beyond just the normality of submitting a resume and cover letter, and add something extra to catch employers’ eyes.  We have to set ourselves apart from the other thousands of applicants that are all striving for the same few positions.  Launching my “Personal Brand” campaign, which includes this website, is my way of standing out from the rest.  If it wasn’t for the opportunity I was given to work at this internship, launching a campaign would have never crossed my mind!
